ANGLICARE is the urban mission and community care arm of the Sydney Anglican Church. As one of Australia’s largest Christian care organisations, ANGLICARE reaches out to thousands of people every year. ANGLICARE seeks to provide care for all people by addressing emotional, social and physical needs. As an organisation ANGLICARE is people centered, gospel based, inclusive and compassionate. Our care will focus on outcomes for people and communities that build resilience, sustainability and hope. It will be delivered across a number of different programs, in various sites across the Sydney Diocese. We will continue to forge positive and effective relationships with government, tertiary educational institutions, local communities and other community sector organisations. In active and practical engagement such care requires that we become a voice
for those who have none, and that we provide refuge for the vulnerable, and compassion for those in need wherever we find them. It means using our own resources, as well as those provided by others, to work alongside people for the achievement of both immediate and sustainable solutions.
