A.N.G.E.L.S. - National Association of Young Energies Leading Solidarity, is an ONLUS promoted by the Presidency of the Fondazione Antonio Genovesi Salerno - SDOA, instituted between 2001-2010 by the United Nations to promote a culture of non-violence and Peace for children. A.N.G.E.L.S. is referred to The Convention of the Rights of the Child and contributes to the spread of a culture focused on Peace, solidarity and respect for the human ecology. The Association is born in the memory of all the young victims of past and present conflicts. The Association has its headquarter in Rome and has unlimited duration. The Directive Council can establish further Administrative offices on the national territory. The aims are achieved through the activities in Italy and abroad and the beneficiaries are the residents, with specific regard to the young generations, of the war afflicted areas. The Association also supports the paediatric departments of hospitals through targeted donations and cooperates with other groups to protect children in Italy and abroad. |
