Action for Russia's Children (ARC) is a UK-registered charity and a company limited by guarantee which supports Russian charities that provide an alternative to orphanages and children's homes. ARC works with a range of projects helping children and young people in Moscow who have all kinds of special needs: physically and mentally disabled children, the socially disadvantaged and those who suffer from racial discrimination. In recognition of what ARC has achieved, Sarah Philps, one of the original founding members of ARC was awarded an MBE by HM the Queen in the 1999 New Year’s Honours List. |
