Friendship Bridge is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that provides microcredit and non-formal educational programs to Guatemalan women. We believe that when offered microcredit, education and encouragement, women embrace the hand-up they desire to make a better life for themselves, their families and their communities. We promote women's empowerment through access to education and capital. We offer a means to self-employment and self-sufficiency. And, we inspire women to become leaders and agents of change. Today, we currently empower more than 13,000 women in Guatemala. |
