Diese Datenbank-Eintrag ist nicht in Ihrer Sprache verfügbar The ATID (an acronym for Amitay Te’ud Yeroham leDoroteha) registered non-profit association (amuta) was established in 1990 to further the “Te’udat Zehut Yeroham” (Yeroham Identity Card) community documentation project initiated in 1988. The project aimed to empower the Yeroham community by encouraging members to document their own history and take an active part in shaping the town’s future, organize and support educational and communal activities, and promote local initiatives. In 2004 BAMIDBAR merged with ATID, and the association’s name was officially changed to ATID BAMIDBAR. ATID BAMIDBAR staff members have received the Liebhaber Prize for Encouraging Religious Tolerance and Cultural Openness in Israel (2006), and the Citation of Excellence from the Torah Culture Department of the Ministry of Education (2009). |
