The 2012 French Fundraising Awards winners have been announced...
The awards, awarded by the French Association of Fundraisers, are designed to reward non-profit organisations, charities and fundraisers for the quality, innovation and value of their work.
This year's prizes were spread into three categories: Innovation in Fundraising, Great Idea-Best Prices, Fundraiser of the Year, recognising organisations and individuals that contribute to the fundraising movement in France and internationally...
The award recipients include mental health charity Association Clubhouse France who's General Delegate, Celine Aimetti,
co-founder of the Association Clubhouse France was awarded the prize of Fundraiser of the Year.
The award recognised that it is possible to start a fundraising project from an innovative response to a major social issue, and activating networks and trained professionals.
CCFD-Terre Solidaire received the Jury Prize in the category Innovation in Fundraising for its application Solidarity City, a new platform for micro-donations..
An Audience Award in this category was also awarded to the French Federation of Cardiology, 'Donocoeur' the heart health non-profit...
The prize for Big Idea Small-Budget was awarded to the foundation PremUp, the organisation dedicated to the health of pregnant women and new-born babies.
The charity also won the votes of the jury and the public for its Walk for Babies solidarity march...
PremUp recognises and responds to the fact that each year in France 55,000 babies are born at less than eight months pregnant and, in its severe forms, prematurity can cause various disorders...

A jury of five professional fundraisers and members of the public voted for their favourite projects.
Organisers say they are now looking forward to the 2013 awards which will also seek to reward best practices amongst charitable fundraising organisations throughout France, whatever the size or scope of the organisation... |
