The roadshow will be at Paradise Street, Liverpool on August 8 from 9am to 5pm and August 9 from 9am to 4.30pm to raise awareness of the risk factors associated with developing Type 2 diabetes...
The roadshow will then visit Hyndburn, Broadway, Accrington on August 20 and 21; then on to Burnley on September 3, 4; then Pendle, September 20 and 21; and then Manchester (October 1, 2) and Salford (October 15, 16)...
The roadshow will offer free risk assessment tests to people to discover whether they could develop the condition in the next decade... Those with moderate or high risks will be referred to their GP for further tests...
