As promised the trading for charity event which is seeking to raise more than 12 million pounds for the financial firm's 140 chosen charities is seeing dozens of world famous faces land on its trading floors.

Other stars already lending a hand include actor Bill Nighy who has made an appearance to show his support for charity Facing the World.

HRH Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall was spotted on the 4th floor of ICAP's London office closing a deal for charity.

Scottish Rugby star Gavin Hastings has also been spotted in ICAP's London building to support the fundraising activities. Other celebrities already helping out today include fellow rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio and comedians Jimmy Tarbuck and Al Murray, aka the Pub Landlord.

Actors stepping into the financial world for charity on ICAP's trading floors include Hermione Norris, Dave Morrissey, Elizabeth McGovern, Nathaniel Parker, Celia Imrie, Joanna Lumley and Rupert Everett. Football legend Terry Venables has also made an appearance in support of charity LAP Research UK.

It's no surprise as the charity event is not a stranger to backing from big names. Last year Princes Charles and William entered the vibrant atmosphere of the trading floors and manned the phones for charity.

ICAP, the world's biggest deal broker for financial institutions has over 60 of its offices participating in the charity event today, which also involves fancy dress activities and a party like atmosphere.

Already a giant alien has been seen at the London trading centre as well as other colourful costumes on display, as part of the charity event which will see 100 per cent of ICAP's daily revenues and commissions going direct to its chosen charities.

This year 16 charities in the UK are set to benefit, including Cure Parkinson's Trust, Fight for Peace and Maggie's Cancer Centres.

Charities from around the world ready to take donations from the fundraising activities include Facing Africa, the Kevin Spacey Foundation, War Child, Women for Women, World Child Cancer, the Make A Wish Foundation, India Summer Camp and the Ashinaga Foundation.

ICAP's CEO Michael Spencer says he is enormously proud of what the company and its partners have achieved since ICAP's charity day was launched in 1993.

He should be - as the event has raised 138 million dollars since then for worthwhile causes, and is promising to add to that total significantly today...
